I’m trying to integrate OpenID authentication with my web application using Spring Security. It isn’t being straightforward because I’m also in the process of learning the SpringFramework and Apache Tapestry. Depending on the dedication I’m able to put into his matter it will take a lesser or a longer time. I’ll post my evolution here on this blog.
In the meantime I just found out that a OpenID sample application can be downloaded from SpringFramework at Apache Maven‘s repository (http://bit.ly/amTZ9m). If you download Spring Security from the Spring site you can also download the source code of this application.

I am working on the same – OpenID+Spring-Security+Tapestry5. Have you been successful yet?
Hi Toby,
Unfortunately I didn’t manage to successfully implement this as I ran into a few problems. Finally I had to postpone this project indefinitely.
Best of luck,
